Or are you Ms. Sharma disguising yourself as Mr. Sharma? First, let me ask you:

1. What is the definition of dowry?

Second, I ask you:

Would you marry your son to a woman who has financially and socially cheated the man she was married to, the man she slept with, and the man she committed to live with for all life? If you would not marry your son to her, why do you want other people to marry such a woman?

Yes sir, the author of this blog is correct in noting that women who file false 498A should be socially shunned. I would say that if you (or anybody else reading this blog) sees or knows a woman who has filed false 498A, you should not talk to her, not let any of your kids or families talk to her, consider her worse than a prostitute or a dog, and, if possible, spit on her. The girl who files false 498A is worse than the lowliest of God’s creations, is worse than the worst of all.

And Mr. Sharma, take your sense of humor elsewhere! We are here to discuss a serious issue, not waste our time with bhaands like you!

You have a great imagination, thinking up outrageous and quite hilarious – indeed, my colleagues (most of them neutered and gay) and I are still laughing over the “498a becomes not only synonymous with Legal Terrorism, but also with Adultery, Incest and Blackmail” wannabe-punchline of yours – reasons why women would file a dowry case. How about an idea: maybe some women ARE genuinely harrassed for dowry? Or do you imagine that nobody in India asks for dowry anymore? Like I said, great imagination powers! Here’s a suggestion: Put your fertile imagination to good use by writing sci-fi novels, rather than ranting on a blog hardly anyone reads.

By the way, Shani, your “DO NOT MARRY A DIVORCED WOMAN UNLESS YOU HAVE MET THE FIRST HUSBAND IN PERSON” qualifies as the second most hilarious line on this page. Well, the Consolation prize goes to you, don’t be sad.
